Wow, what a powerful little poem you've written. I particularly like the opening - 'a dark, gloomy day' paints a wonderfully vivid picture in my mind. I imagine that's what it would be like in Beijing quite a lot of the time. Have you been before? I would like to go to experience the culture and try out all of the delicious foods, but now that I know just how polluted it is, I'm not sure it's worth the risk. Hopefully they come up with an effective way to combat their pollution problem soon. Do you have any ideas on how they might do that? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
